A favorite show of many of our "FANS"
is our "gospel night". On Gospel Night all the regular cast members and some special
guests will do a gospel number instead of their normal country and comedy
songs.
Some old some new.
We must pause and give honor and glory to God for the success
of the Kentucky Opry. Clay Campbell and his wife Barbie feel it's one of
the best nights of music all year. The Opry hosts special
fund raisers Gospel Shows through out the year for WVHM Christian
radio.
We also have the top
names in gospel music. such as Gold City , Jeff
and Sheri Easter, The Dove Brothers, The Freemans, The McKamey's, and The Booth Brothers. Check schedule for show dates through out the year.

50's & 60's Old Tyme Rock an Roll
Show
Several times a year the Kentucky Opry hosts a night of 50's & 60's
rock and roll music. Come out and hear the sounds of "Slick
Tire and the White Side-Walls Olde Tyme Rock-n-Roll Show" performing wonderful, all-time
classics like "Rock Around the Clock,"Wake up Little
Susie," "Johnny B Goode" "Rock and Roll is here to stay, Whole Lotta' Shakin' Goin' On " and
many more.
You will see dancing
girls in poodle skirts, tough guys in jeans and white bobby socks,
and if you look carefully, you might see Elvis in the building!
It is a great night of entertainment for those who remember days
of yesteryear and even those who just want a glimpse of the past!
Past years' performances
have included a variety of entertainment from Clay and the Kentucky
Opry band members. This year and in years to come, however, Clay
and Barbie plan to bring together more talented individuals they
encounter during the talent search for their 50's night.

The stars of yesteryear still shine
brightly at the Kentucky Opry's"Classic Country Night,"
featuring stellar performances by Willie Makit, Bettie Don't and the all star country & western band. Clay Campbell and The kentucky Opry pull out all
the stops to entertain the folks during this two-hour
show.
Audiences already
familiar with the Opry's Classic Country sounds will now be able to
see their local favorites in dazzling costumes and makeup. This
show will definitely carry spectators back in time and have
them thinking they're watching and listening to the stars themselves.
A carefully selected list of
No. 1 hits from the 1948 to 1965 will certainly bring
back memories for all to enjoy.
With that in mind,
the Opry's new "Classic Country Night" is sure to
be another crown in its long list of ever-popular shows and
activities. Some of the highlights of the evening will be performances
of Jeannie Pruitt's "Satin Sheets," Kitty Wells' and
Red Foley's "Makin' Believe," Jim Reeves' "He'll
Have To Go," Patsy Montana's "Cowboy Sweetheart,"
Marty Robbins' "Singing The Blues," Merle Haggard's
"Okie From Muskogee," Webb Pierce's "More and
More," Ernest Tubb's "Walking The Floor Over You,"
"Little" Jimmy Dickens' "Old Cold Tater,"
"Jumping" Bill Carlisle's "Too Old To Cut The
Mustard," Jimmy Rodgers' "Blue Yodel No. 8," The Carter Family's
" In The Highways" and The Everly Brothers' "Bye,
Bye Love."

Seniors Show
Seniors!
Seniors! Seniors
They come in vans, buses,trucks,cars,walkers &
wheel chairs from as far away as Central and Southern Il- Union City , Tn- Hopkinsville, KY- and Cape Girardeau MO.
They come to see the Kentucky
Opry all star cast and some of the cast from the "Stars
of Tomorrow" show for a special senior citizen matinee
show. This show became popular for our "seasoned citizens" because so many either can't drive or don't want to drive at
night, so since our show is over by about 4:30 or 5pm they have
plenty of time to get home before dark ,
The Opry also allows
senior centers, nursing homes,retirement homes and assisted
living groups to attend together for the half-price admission of only $7. Check our schedule for the next one.
The Opry will several Senior matinee shows each year one in the spring,
summer and one in December for the Christmas Show

Annual Old
Fashion Country Christmas Show
The sights and sounds of the holiday
season come alive each year when the Kentucky Opry presents
its annual show “An Old Fashion Country Christmas.”
Clay Campbell, owner and featured performer at the Opry, said
the Christmas show features a wide assortment of holiday favorites
to help local and area residents enjoy and celebrate the Christmas
season.
The Christmas show is an overwhelming favorite of residents throughout the
four-state area. It kicks off each year on the first Saturday night
after Thanksgiving and runs until the week of Christmas. Check our schedule for exact show times.
Since the first Christmas
show back in 1988, residents have been treated to spectacular
performances of such holiday classics as "Silent Night,"
"Have Yourself A Merry Little Christmas," "White
Christmas," "Jingle Bells," and "Jingle Bell
Rock".

In recent years, the
Opry has expanded its holiday performance to include new seasonal
hits by new artists as Garth Brooks, Trisha Yearwood, George
Straight, Alan Jackson and Alison Krause.
The
Opry Christmas Show is designed to tell the story of the birth of baby
Jesus in a unique way, through music and entertainment.
"We tell the Biblical story of Christ's birth throughout or Show. The message is woven
throughout the holiday show.

“An Old Fashion Country
Christmas" also features the highly-popular and poignant
original holiday song "Jesus Is The Reason For The Season,"
written and arranged by Campbell.
Each year approximately 70-80 plus
groups attend the holiday show, as well as numerous school
groups from throughout the western Kentucky area.
"This is a great
show that captures the hearts and attention of young and old
alike,"
At different times
throughout the evening the audience is even invited to sing-along
with the band as they perform various favorite holiday songs.

Stars of Tomorrow Show
Have you ever wondered where country
music artists get their start? Most of them worked very hard
to break into the business. The Kentucky Opry Stars of Tomorrow
are just such a group of hard-working young professional entertainers.
-
While some kids excel at sports or academics, these young people
excel at entertaining you (while also excelling in other fields
too). The Stars of Tomorrow entertainers represent the best
of the best from the Beginner and Junior divisions of the annual
Kentucky Opry Talent Search. Many of them have performed professionally
in several venues as well as competing and winning in national
talent competitions. They have developed their own style of
entertainment right here at the Kentucky Opry by performing
with Clay Campbell and his house band.
You won't want to
miss the Kentucky Opry Stars of Tomorrow show! It's a Branson-style
show in the heart of western Kentucky featuring the best young
performers from several surrounding states. The show features
the country hits of yesterday and today, good ole-fashioned
comedy, rock-n'-roll hits of the 50s and 60s, as well as some
of the best young musicians around. When the show is over, you
may be thinking the show should be renamed the Stars of Today.
You can catch the Stars of Tomorrow performing
every Friday night at 8 p.m except the first Friday of each
month, during the months of June, July, and August. Don't miss

Jackson or Faith Hill!
