Clay & Barbie Campbell Owners

Clay is originally from Bland Missouri, and has been involved in the music business for over 35 years, he has traveled with his own group until starting the Kentucky Opry in 1988. Clay is the Emcee for the show and also plays several instruments and sings. Barbie is originally from Eden Prairie, Mn and met Clay in Minnesota while he was performing at where she was employed, they have been married for 26 years. Barbie is in charge of Opry reservations and is manager of the Opry. Clay & Barbie have three sons, who also perform in the show. Clayton, Cody & Casey.

Cody Campbell

Twenty one year old Cody Campbell began being featured as a an intrumentalist on the piano once or

twice during each show a few years after the opry started.  He now plays keyboard full time in the house band, sings, and plays upright bass on bluegrass tunes.He is currently a student at Murray State University. 

Casey Campbell

Nineteen year old Casey Campbell was initially introduced as a

cello player at age 5, however, he now plays rhythm guitar in the band and is also featured as a banjo & cello player & vocalist. Casey is currently working for Bluegrass Plumbing in Paducah besides working at the Opry.

Clayton Campbell

Twenty six year old Clayton Campbell has been performing at  the Kentucky Opry since age 7. Clayton plays fiddle, mandolin, guitar & back up vocals. Clayton currently is playing with the "Gibson Brothers" bluegrass group from upstate New York. Clayton performs at the Opry whenever he not traveling with the Gibson Brothers

Scottie Henson

Scottie Henson was born and raised in Marshall County, KY. He became interested

in bluegrass music in his late teens and has been involved with music ever since, performing on Grand ole Opry package shows and even touring overseas with his own group. Scottie alter ego is Uncle Jud Crowfield, who's done radio and TV commercials for many years. As a full time music teacher, Scottie teaches about 50 students in private lessons each week. He and his wife Ruby, have one daughter Laura Davis, one horse - Pistol, and 25 chickens to numerous to name.

 

Vickie Vaughn

17 year old Vickie Vaughn has been a member at the Kentucky Opry

since she was 9 years old. She sings lead & harmony and is part of the

Opry trio. Vickie will be attending Belmont University at

Nashville this fall majoring in Music.

 

The Kentucky Opry Trio

The trio consists of 17 year old Vickie Vaughn from Symsonia, KY . Vickie just graduated from Marshall County High School and will be attending Belmont University in Nashville, Tn. as a music major sings lead, and back up vocals.

19 year old Jasmine Davis from Benton, KY. Jasmine is currently a vocal major at Murray State University. She also sings lead , back up vocals and plays fiddle.

22 year old Blair Joseph from Benton, KY. Blair just graduated from Murray State University with a music major. Blair sings lead , back up vocals and is the Opry's Fiddle Player.

22 year old Blair Joseph is no stranger to The Kentucky Opry, her mother Ronecca was one of the first female vocalist hired. Blair has been on the Opry stage since she was a toddler. She plays fiddle in the show and sings in the Opry trio. She also sings lead, and back up vocals. Blair just graduated with a music major at Murray State University.

Blair currently lives in Benton with her parents.

19 year old Jasmine Davis songs lead, and back up vocals. She is also a part of the Opry trio. Jasmine also plays fiddle. Jasmine is currently at Interlockin Music Camp for the summer as a counselor, and will return this fall to the opry and to Murray State where she is a vocal major.

Steve Helm

Steve was forever changed as a youngster when he first heard a steel guitar.

From that moment on he know he would play the steel guitar. Steve also enjoys playing the Dobro. He has been playing music for twenty years. Steve has been a member of the Kentucky Opry since 1991.

Steve resides in Metropolis, IL. Steve enjoys computers and programming.

 

Alan Griggs

Born June 12th ,1963 in St. Louis, Mo to the late John & Mary Griggs,

he moved to Kentucky in 1983 . Alan grew up in a family rich with musical talent.

His father played steel guitar and sang, his brother Ron nie plays bass and is also a member of the Kentucky Opry cast. Alan taught himself at the age of 15 to play the drums. His early musical influences were Buddy Rich, Gene Kruppa and Louie Bellson. Alan's main job is keeping a steady tempo and beat. Alan and his wife Barbara live in Almo, KY and have been married for 23 years. They have 2 children Sara 18 years old and Wade 9 years old. He says he has been blessed to be able to play the music he loves at a clean family show like the Kentucky Opry.

Ronnie Griggs

Ronnie Griggs from Dexter, KY played bass with Grand Ole Opry star

Kenny Price and traveled throughout the US. Ronnie plays bass with the

Opry and sings lead, backup vocals and is the Opry band leader. Ronnie is married to Lucy and enjoys spending time with his grandchildren.

Logan Oakley

18 year old Logan Oakley , is the Kentucky State "thumb pickin" guitar champion. Logan plays rhythm guitar, lead guitar, mandolin and sings. Logan will be attending Murray State University this fall as a freshman.

Rachel Witt

16 year old Rachel Witt one of the newest member of the Kentucky Opry entourage. She has been the winner of the Kentucky Opry Talent Search and has been a frequent guest at the Opry. Rachel lives in Riedland with her Dad and two brothers.She sings lead and harmony in the show.
