Kenny James Brings to life 2 of the most Iconic personalities of a generation Buddy Holly and Barney Fife! Kenny James has traveled coast to coast bringing his tribute show to Venues large and small. A well versed entertainer, Kenny James switches from the well loved and admired deputy sheriff of the sixties television. A dead ringer as audiences say, Kenny brings the fearless deputy to life with his usual antics and “Fife-isms”. It is such a hit that Kenny James was asked to appear on the Marty Stuart Show on RFD TV. Marty Stuart being a big fan of the famous deputy just had to have Kenny on his program. Also getting a nod from Karen Knotts, daughter of the man himself, Don Knotts. Karen is even looking to have Kenny perform with her on her show “Tied Up In Knotts” a tribute to her father.

As Buddy Holly, Kenny James transforms into the 50’s rock and roll pioneer to an unbelievable likeness singing Buddy Holly hits such as Peggy Sue, That’ll Be The Day, True Love Ways and many many more. Again, such a great performer of Buddy Holly, Kenny attracted attention from friends and family members of Buddy Holly. All with their blessings since Kenny does such a wonderful respectful tribute to one of the most important entertainers of the era. Working with the son of The Big Bopper, J. P. Richardson  also known as the Big Bopper Jr. was an honor to Kenny that will never be duplicated. Bopper Jr. said of Kenny ” the most energetic and professional entertainer he had worked with.
After spending 12 years in Pigeon Forge Tn, at Memories Theatre, The longest running show in Pigeon Forge, Kenny decided to take his tributes and concentrate mainly doing road shows with his own band RAVE ON.
