In June 1963 he traded a Saddle and a Pig for a Guitar – a few months later he sang his first song in-front of a crowd.

For over 50 years, he’s STILL singing on a stage.

He played in a lot of bands, and

played about a million places from Boston to Bakersfield, Dallas to

Denver, from Fort Worth to Fargo.

He struggled many years pursuing his dream. In the 70’s  He cut albums in Nashville, had some top 10 records, sang on the Grand ole Opry, been on National TV,  but finally came to settle down and raise a Family right here in Marshall Country Kentucky

And…29 years ago, Clay Campbell and his wife Barbie started the Kentucky Opry on a  lifetime savings of $10,000 and a lot of prayers.

He’s has lived to tell this story –tonight he has some very cool

pictures and videos, and songs he sang from 5 decades of playing
